So Who Are You?
I'm James Saliba, a graduate student in new digital media who is also a web developer and graphic designer, all in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. I'm just your typical university student—albeit with a thing for design—who holds a BA in English and is currently in the middle of a Master of Experimental Digital Media at the University of Waterloo. In my spare time I'm also a very geeky technophile (building and fixing computers, figuring out new ways to wire things up in my house, etc); I love cooking, to let out the amateur foodie in me; and I'm a pianist who doesn't get enough time with his piano, despite having studied the instrument for 15 years.
What's this Annexant business?
Based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, Annexant Design is a digital design business run mainly by myself, and sometimes with a bit of help from my friend Eric Roberts. I started it in January 2004, and it's kept going ever since. I believe in common sense and reason; I want to be flexible in order to help you out, and I hope you'll be flexible too. I also believe in designing with current standards in mind, to ensure compatibility across browsers and media, and to increase accessibility wherever possible.
Sounds like you design stuff.
Bingo. I want to create online and print media for you, your non-profit organisation, or your company, that you will love. You can take a look at the services I offer for a better picture. My goal is to build quality websites, marketing images, creative designs, posters, business cards, fliers, or whatever else you need to get to where you want to be.
If you're happy, I'm happy. It's as simple as that. So go on, talk to me. Let's see what we can do.
